BoredPuP is a family-friendly games portal. Here's everything you need to know about how it works and how we protect young players.
No sign-ups
Kids never need an account, email, or password to play. The moment a game opens, they're in - and closing the tab leaves nothing behind.
No personal data from us
We do not collect names, emails, or any personal information. Favorites and recent games are stored only in your browser and never sent to our servers.
No chat rooms
There are no profiles, friend lists, public messages, or chat. A child cannot be contacted through BoredPuP.
Browser games only
Everything runs as HTML5 in the browser. There is nothing to download and nothing that installs itself.
Curated catalog
Games come from the GameMonetize network. Titles are browsable by clearly labelled categories, and every game page shows what kind of game it is before you click play.
Advertising
Some games show adverts inside or around them, served by our partners' ad networks. We do not sell ad space directly to children, and ad partners set their own limits on personalized ads.
A note on advertising and third parties
Free games are usually paid for by advertising, and that's true on BoredPuP. Videos, banners, or pre-rolls may appear as part of the games we list. These are provided by the game developers and their advertising partners, not by us. For the details - including the cookies ad partners may use - please read our privacy policy.
Supervision tips
Play along the first time - it's fun, and it tells you exactly what a game involves.
Check a game's category and "How to play" notes on its page before handing over the mouse.
Remember that internet-based ads can change, so keep an eye on what displays around games.
Time limits are easier than willpower. Try a race to the finish, not an open-ended session.
Concerned about a specific game?
Email us at hello@boredpup.com with the game's name or the exact link from your address bar and we'll review it and, if needed, remove it from our catalog. See our contact page for details.
